Great on the ball service

I tried Prairie Road Automotive for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness and professionalism of the people I met. They made the time to do more services to my vehicle than I had made an appointment for. They are now my go to vehicle repair shop.

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting this awesome shop to have my oil changed. They not only changed my oil but performed an all-points inspection at a better rate/price than I have ever paid for my current vehicle. My experience from the initial phone call to the time I walked out the door for home, was unparalleled. The staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and have outstanding customer service. While waiting for my vehicle in their beautiful reception/waiting area, an elderly women pulled up and walked in. She stated that her tire pressure sensor light had come on and that she wanted it "fixed". One of the service advisor's informed her that due to the location of the actual tire sensor, she would be better served by returning to the tire shop (she had just come from) because they had the required equipment to fix it. However, he didn't send her on her way without 1st going outside with her to check her tires for any visible damage or immediate cause for concern. He didn't have to do that and he could have easily taken her money to throw her car up on the racks for a "fix" that wasn't even possible. As a female driver/vehicle owner, I've experienced the unscrupulous mechanics/shops. Prairie road automotive made me feel welcome, and NOT like a number or a "clue-less woman driver"! They had all walks of life come through those doors during my visit, and not one person was treated any different than another. They are very inclusive. I will sing their praises to all who ask and even to those that don't.

Incredible customer service even with a difficult repair

For years before I found Prairie Road Automotive I tried numerous repair companies in Eugene and Springfield. I was overcharged for work that did not need to be done or received shoddy work that had to be corrected at an even greater expense. I happened across Prairie Road where I was met by a remarkable crew of knowledgeable, honest and dedicated techs and service persons. I had to take my '06 Tundra into a Toyota dealer to have the passenger air bag replaced just recently. They told me that there was an issue with the throttle body that might need replacing. Prairie Road found the system only needed a thorough cleaning but during the inspection noticed the timing chain was on it's last legs. With over 120,000 miles on the truck it was over due to be changed. This was not the first time they found leaks or issues that needed replacing. They not only told me about the issues but they took the time to show me. Thanks to their honesty and integrity, they have kept my '06 buzzing along and as result I'll likely see 400,000 plus miles on my truck. Thank you Prairie Road for your honesty, your attention to details and your remarkable customer service. My lady is happily buzzing along again. You have a lifelong customer. God bless you!

Our Cadillac Escalade needed some repairs. The brakes made a "weird" sound and the turn signal didn't work good. We looked for auto repair shops in Eugene on the internet and we chose Prairieroad automotive because of their good reviews. From the phone call to the end we had a great experience! Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. When I brought my car in they offered me a ride back home. Sorry I forgot the name but this young men was very friendly as well and told my about the company and I could tell he loved working here. Later that day I received a phone call about the estimate. There were several other repairs they could do on our car, but since it's an older car their advise was to only repair the breaks and the turn signal and look for another car. The repair costs would be higher then the car is worth. I mean seriously most repair shops would try to make the most money but nope not Prairyroad automotive they really give you an honest advise! This is exactly how you should treat your costumers so YES we will go back if we need repairs to our car. Thanks all for a great experience :)

Great work, awesome customer service, very friendly and helpful,very quick and fully and completely done with a smile and fully explained what was done and why. I will continue to take my truck to them for good quality work.

I encourage those needing car repair to try Prairie Road Automotive. I know I will return. My interactions with Caleb and Aaron were open and honest; I never felt pressured into a decision. Both men also have genuinely friendly and professional demeanors; they listened and offered realistic solutions and carried through on the plan in a way that was most convenient to for me. The tow truck driver even commented that "these guys are great!"
